印度理工学院（Indian Institute of Technology）的知名教授Tarun Chandrayadula受邀将于9月9日~17日访问浙大，并做为期一周的短期课程，授课时间与地点（9月10日~14日 每天下午14:30~17:00,玉泉校区教七-208）。有兴趣的同学可以前往听课。
授课内容提纲如下：
Deep Water Acoustics
1. Basics of mode propagation: Mode pulses, mode dispersion, coupled mode model
2. Introduction to acoustic variability due to oceanographic variability: Internal waves and their effects on modes
3. Transport theory approach to model mode intensities and coherences: Analytical predictions and simulations
4. Experimental observations of modes: Comparisons with transport theory
5. Mode tomography: Robust observables and setting up the inverse problem using mode travel times
6. Ongoing work: Mode observations in the Philippine Sea
